This is another picture that’s all about the colors. I took it near my sister’s place in Magnolia. I love the vividness of the bar, the car, the neon signs, & the flag. The whole muscle car story makes me think of my teen years in the Midwest. I’m less enthused about the wash out on the sky…something I’ll have to keep playing with I guess.

I took this shot at a café downtown. I like the starkness of her hair & the all the colors (her shirt, the blue tiles, the yellow pot, yada, yada). I also enjoy the multiple vehicles moving in reflection.

Seattle will often offer a wonderful variety of skyscapes. I’ve been rather enamored with clouds of late. I suppose it’s the wispy complexity alongside how they game with light. This shot is of a condo across the street from my apartment. The backlighting & texture of the clouds makes it feel a bit ominous to me, but I like it all the same.
